And welcome to my listing for this wonderful guitar! Some of the most beautiful woods on the planet make this guitar one of a kind!

From the design, laminating plates, winding pickups, finishing, buffing, and set up... It's all done by me! There is no production shop or extra personnel or large automated processes that are involved in creating these unique instruments. I try to keep costs contained, and I attempt to keep the outsourcing to a minimum while offering high end materials in woods and hardware. My shop is in my basement... And provides well for humidity control and stable environment for constructing these wonderful pieces. Given the low overhead, I'm able to keep my prices quite reasonable in comparison to other custom shops offering a comparable product. So let me introduce the "Eastbay" model. It's a 15 lower bout, parallel braced instrument with app 1 5/8 rims, laminated maple/mahogany plates with an outer face of bookmatched 4A flame maple top/back/sidesabsolutely stunning maple!

The neck/body joint/long tenon is at the 16. Fret and a deep cutaway for a comfortable access to the upper register.

Its a very comfortable guitar to play. It has an even tone and a quiet voiceand rings with a pronounced rhythmic cycle.

Im actually quite intrigued by a laminate having those nice sparkly overtones. Let me list a few details. Video here: Chris Walsh Guitars FB page. Neck is laminate five / seven at headstock of mahogany and purpleheart. Ebony face plate white MOP Walsh logo.

Two way adjustable truss rod. Unbleached bone nut 1 11/16ths. Ebony fingerboard 22 fret 24 ¾ scale. Seven ply laminate plates top/back/sides including 4A+ flame maple face.

Upper bout 11 ¼ Lower bout 15. Body length 19 ¼ Total length 41 ¼.

Humbucker wound by me to 8.6 Kohm. Bourne reverse taper Left hand pots. Cardinal Spray Lacquer buffed high gloss finish.
