All Original Antoria Semi Acoustic Model. With that famed 1960's Vintage look. Includes a brand new hard shell case. T Coppock sourcing instruments from the Fuji Gen Factory. Teisco built guitars from 1946 to 1967 when they were bought out. The brand continued under the new ownership. These models were exported mainly to The U.

A Rare MIJ Antoria (Gibson) ES Copy In stunning Tri-colour Vintage Sunburst. Guitars of this era represented a direct challenge to Gibson and Epiphone Models. Many Antoria owners consider that the MIJ built instruments play far better than their original U. A counterparts of that same era.

I'll agree that The Antoria's I have owned have felt better to play than some Gibsons. In my opinion their Necks /Fingerboards are so well made and finished they are fast and really comfortable to play. It's In an amazing condition for a 50+ year old guitar. Antoria were one of the better branded "copy" models available and are still available today, these older vintage models have become very collectible instruments.

Coppock Leeds Ltd were responsible for the Antoria Brand. However Antoria goes back to the 50s. Hank Marvin owned and played one of their models among other stars such as Billy Fury Jeff Beck and latterly Oasis had their J200 copy. I have owned a fair few Antorias, first one a Les Paul Custom back in 1975 and additional Les Pauls, ES335 ES330 and Hummingbird acoustic models in more recent years. It's lovely vintage instrument which is in great condition considering it's age, some may say Time warp condition Some very slight buckle rash on the reverse through use and some slight wear commensurate with play over time but only lightly as the frets are in great condition showing only slight wear.

The body is in good condition A couple of slight marks, a tiny one on the front but not large enough to cause any concern. Frets in good condition it's been cared for. It's a light guitar with a similar feel to an Epiphone Casino, with a similar 60's Burst finish like the ones the Beatles played. It is acoustically pleasing when played without an amp but of course comes alive when plugged into an Amp..

See and hear the Demo. It has double bound body, with a fully bound neck without nib end binding with Binding around the "F" holes. I presume it's a Rosewood finger board with block type Inlays, Custom "Flower Pot "logo on the headstock which is the "Open Book" style housing 6 x oval or kidney key style Tuners.

These are of the period and common to many Antoria and other models of this 60's 70's era, they perform their task well. 2 x Volume 2 X Tone, they all work Witches hat style controls still have their functions. 2 Chrome Humbucker pickups with the following readings.

Adjustable floating bridge for string intonation. Prior to dispatch it will have a new set of strings and a setup check by my local guitar Tech. He adjusts neck/fingerboard straightness, fret alignment/height and string height as required. I have quite a few guitars in my collection. "You can never have too many guitars I say ".

The Wife doesn't agree. But as I have several other Antoria's and other brands, reluctantly I'm thinning out and letting this go, as I feel this needs to be played and appreciated as it deserves to be, not sporadically played as part of my collection. It includes a brand new hard shell case which will afford good protection in transit and I will also box it up too in a sturdy guitar carton. Great tone and with all the same vintage vibe, visual aesthetics and playability. Please examine all photographs which form part of the description.
