Up For Sale Is This Rare Vintage 1957 / 59 Hofner President Archtop Acoustic Guitar Factory Converted With The After-Market Hofner President "Air-Coil" Pick-Up Set Very Similar To The One Jimmy Page Had In The Early 60's. This Is A Rare Example With Its Sturdy Construction Of Spruce Top And Flame Maple Back And Sides, The Body Edging Is Finished Off With Multiple Black / White Binding And A 23 Fret Rosewood Fingerboard Incl. Its Zero Fret With eight "Triple-Dot" Fret Markers And Large Frets That Show Very Little Wear. It Also Retains Its Ebony 2 Piece Height Adjustable Bridge And A Hofner Chrome Compensator Tail Piece (REGD 851997). The Machine Heads Are The Individual Open Back Type. Overall This Is A Superb Example With Very Minimal Signs Of Use Or Wear And In A Super Clean Excellent Condition And Also With Relatively Low Action! The Guitar Has Been Re-Strung With 09-46 Strings Which Have Kept The Action reasonably Low.

The Guitar Also Comes Complete With It's Excellent Original Brown Canvas Carrying Bag And An Old Selmer Style Leather Guitar Strap Plus An Unopened Vintage Set Of Guitar Strings!
