Larrivee DV-03 Mahogany 2011 Natural Dreadought Electro Acoustic Guitar

The DV-03E is a Dreadnought shaped all solid electro acoustic guitar crafted from high quality materials, with the back and sides crafted from Mahogany and the top from Sitka Spruce. The guitar has a satin finish. Dreadnought guitars are one of the most versatile guitars available with a balanced tone and an'average' sized body shape which lends itself to strumming and fingerpicking. The use of Mahogany means that there is emphasis on the bass end but the Spruce top and dreadnought shape keep everything balanced with a nice top end sparkle thanks to the top. Comfort wise this body shape is one of the most playable with a venetian cutaway allowing for full fret access. The Mahogany neck has a fairly flat feeling 16 fingerboard radius and a smooth Ebony fretboard for excellent playing comfort. A bone nut and saddle allow for maximum transference of energy from the strings resulting in a superior tone. Guitar Type - Electro Acoustic Dreadnought. Luthier report by Adam North Guitars. Headstock- Headstock in overall very good condition. Two small marks at the top.

Light discoloration right above the nut. Light restring scratches at the A string tuner. Body- Body in overall good condition.

One scratch/indent on the front (Near the 16th fret on the left); another scratch/indent on the side (bottom right); scratch/indent at the front (bottom right). Very light scratches (playwear) on the rear surface. Regular playwear on the pickguard.

No or little Indentation - Very Light playing wear. Truss Rod & Bridge- Fully Functional and can be adjusted. Height of the string from the 12th Fret- 2.6mm - 1.5mm. Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. The guitar is fully adjustable to preference by the new owner. The truss rod key for the guitar is included in the case. The bridge pins have been replaced with ebony pins, but the original ones are in the case. Strings on Guitar- 11 - 52. Electrics are in full working order. The guitar is overall in very good condition with a few marks which are noted in the report. The electrics are fully functional. The saddle is fully adjustable to preference. The guitar has a warm and rich tone accompanied by a comfortable feel.
