Larrivee L-03 Natural Satin 2008 Acoustic Guitar W/ Hard Case. Here for sale we have the Larrivee L-03 Acoustic Guitar in a Natural Satin finish. Built in 2008 in Canada, this guitar features a Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, Mahogany neck and a 20 fret Ebony fingerboard. The scale length of this guitar is 25.5" and the width of the nut is 1.75". This guitar also comes with a Larrivee hard case to keep it safe. The Larrivee L-03 is a very comfortable guitar to play. The slim neck profile is easy to grip - this along with the relatively flat fingerboard makes complex chord fretting and fingerpicking style a lot easier to play. This guitar has a unique shape called the'L-Body. The'L-Body' has a narrower waist and a slightly smaller upper bout compared to the common dreadnought shaped acoustic guitars. This is great for those who find larger guitars awkward or uncomfortable to play. The Sitka Spruce top of this guitar is a popular choice with Acoustic Guitars as it produces a bright and clear sound with good sustain. This is balanced well with the Mahogany back and sides which give out a warm and rich tone with great midrange and bass response.
The large sound hole featured on this guitar adds to the balanced tone and great projection. This guitar is also built with Larrivee's'X-Bracing' which provides great support to the top of the guitar.The'X-Bracing' also helps to provide a good balance of sustain and responsiveness, and adds a more focussed and punchy tone to the guitar. Back & Sides - Mahogany.
