Martin 000C Natural 2015 Classical Cutaway Electro Acoustic Guitar. Here for sale we have a Martin 000C Classical Cutaway Electro Acoustic Guitar. Built in America in 2015, this guitar features a Sitka Spruce top, Sapele back and sides, a Select Hardwood neck and a 20 fret Richlite fingerboard with a matching Richlite bridge.

Installed in this guitar is Fishman F1 Analog electronics wired to a master volume/tuner on/off button, master tone/phase on/off button. The neck width is typical of a classical style guitar at 2 and allows for plenty of space to play with the traditional finger picking style. A lovely addition to this guitar is the cutaway which isn't very typical of classical style guitars. This allows for much easier access to the higher register.

The Fishman pickups really project the tone of this guitar well. Full chords resonate with a lovely warmness.

Individual plucking on the lower strings of the guitar has a great twang, and when plugged in you can improve the bass response at a low volume and suppress feedback at a high volume by pressing the tone wheel to switch the phase. Back & Sides - Sapele. Nut Width - 1.975. Pickups - Fishman F1 Analog Electronics. Controls - Master Volume/ Tuner On/Off Button, Master Tone/Phase On/Off button. Luthier Report By Adam North Guitars. Headstock: Light marking is visible to the top edge. Neck: The neck has a glossy finish from previous use. When looking down the neck, you can see a slight difference in neck angle where the neck joins the body, this results in a higher action. Body: The rear and sides of the body show minimal wear, there is some marking to the front around the bridge on the guitar.

Excellent condition, showing very minimal markings. Truss Rod Condition: Fully functional & can be adjusted. Please note that the neck is currently set flat and that the issue with the neck angle (as noted above) means that adding more back bow would likely not improve the setup in this case.

Structural Condition: The binding is separating from the guitar in numerous places, namely the cutaway (top), treble side waist (top), treble side waist (rear), treble side lower bout (rear), bass side waist (rear), and a crack to the binding at the neck joint (rear). This is a common issue with bound acoustic guitars as the wood expands and contracts in reaction to changing humidity levels.

We would recommend having this seen to by a skilled luthier in the near future, however this is just an aesthetic issue. Height of the string from the 12th Fret- Treble 3.5mm - Bass 4mm. Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. There is room in the saddle to adjust the action to preference.
