Taylor 812c Natural Gloss 1994 Electro Acoustic Guitar. Here for sale we have a Taylor 812c electro acoustic guitar in Natural Gloss finish. This guitar was built in 1994 in California and features a solid Spruce top with solid Rosewood back and sides. The neck is crafted using Mahogany and has a 20 fret Ebony fingerboard. The satin finish neck plays very well, offering a smooth and comfortable playing surface.

In addition to this, the Ebony fingerboard feels very smooth under the fingers. The neck isn't too thick, feeling comfortable in the hand, certainly a profile that most will get along with. The Grand Concert body style feels full and responsive, without being quite as cumbersome as a dreadnought, and the cutaway allows for easy access to the higher register. The tone of the 812c is full and balanced, with a warm low end, a punchy and responsive midrange, along with a clear and bell-like high end, with plenty of articulation. The piezo does a great job of interpreting the voice of the guitar in a simple plug-and-play package, doing away with the need for intrusive body-mounted controls.

Back & Sides - Solid Rosewood. Nut Width - 1.76. Luthier Report By Adam North Guitars. Headstock: Light wear is visible to the top edge with some small spots of finish chipping visible.

The front near the logo has some finish fading with some light finish denting noticeable. Neck: Light markings, visible under bright lighting, along with a few light but more noticeable finish dents.

There are light markings to the fingerboard, most noticeable in the lower register. Body: Light scratch markings, visible under bright lighting, along with some denting to the sides to the back edge of the lower bout on the treble side. The front shows light scratch markings and a few minor dents, visible under bright lighting.

The first 5 frets show some light dents under the treble strings, not affecting playability; these become less noticeable from the 6th fret onwards only showing lighter signs of wear. Truss Rod Condition: Fully functional & can be adjusted. Hardware Condition: Fully functional with light signs of wear.

Structural Condition: No concerns or issues to note. Height of the string from the 12th Fret- Treble 2mm - Bass 2.5mm. Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. Strings on Guitar - 11-52. There is room in the saddle for adjustment.

The battery clip has been attached to the internal side of the neck heel, covering the serial number/make/model. Shows light signs of wear and tear but is fully functional, protecting the guitar well. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers.
