Currently fitted with fairly new D'addario Light top/Heavy bottom 10-52 nickle wound strings.. A perfect compromise for this style of guitar. The guitar is in excellent condition like new and has always been kept in its case when not played. The case also comes with a fitted hygrometer to monitor humidity. The guitar is unmarked with no fret issues or electrical issues and playes exceptionally well. These types of guitars often come with all wood bridges, but The Loar comes with a fully adjustable tune-o-matic bridge for better intonation, but its fully floating. By contrast, if you wanted to switch from a wood bridge try the style used on the Loar it would normally cost you. It has good quality open back'butterbean' tuners which is a nice touch. The all black finish is classy including the fine detail and binding. The Thomann hardcase has a nice vintage finish but with scuffs and marks as it was used with a previous guitar. But it fits perfectly and is fully intact including all latches and hinges, but the key is lost.

This is a great guitar that punches above its price point and if you are looking for a versatile 175 alike.. At a bargain price then this could be it.
