Uses 2 regular AA Batteries, included with guitar. Have played and gigged with this guitar for 5 or so years (so has quite a few little dings and scratches on it as shown) but still plays beautifully and it's such a perfect entry level acoustic. Have just cleaned and oiled the fretboard, and has brand new strings. Collection only - hard case included (if required) but the case is a bit broken (no handle) so understandable if you don't want it!
